God's Light Community is a Catholic community gathering in Sydney, formed in the way of life of the Sword of the Spirit, and rooted in the charismatic renewal of the Church.
Who we are
A Catholic community, formed for mission.
We are God's Light Community, a Catholic community of disciples on mission based in Sydney, Australia. We gather to pray, to be formed in the Christian life, and to share the love of Jesus with those around us — at home, at work, in our neighbourhoods, and beyond.
Our life together is shaped by a deep love for Jesus, an openness to the Holy Spirit, and a commitment to walking with one another through every season of life.
Our story
How we began.
God's Light Community was born from a desire to follow Jesus more deeply, in the company of others who share that same longing. What began as a small prayer group has grown into a community of families, students, and young adults who call Sydney home.
We are formed in the way of life of the Sword of the Spirit, an international family of Christian covenant communities that grew out of the Catholic charismatic renewal.

Our service to the Church flows from our life as a covenant community — through evangelisation, formation of others, and the nurturing of vocations.

Where we meet
Come and join us.
